A little under two weeks ago, I was able to join Jason, Kisha, and their families for their wedding ceremony and a  few stunning portraits! This Salem Black River Church wedding features a such a unique location and all the Spanish moss a photographer could dream of!

Jason and Kisha blended their families in front of a small crowd and surrounded by family and friends. You can tell by their faces in the images right after their ‘first kiss’ that they were elated to finally be married. It was truly a beautiful spring wedding day at the Salem Black River Church, and I was honored to be there to document these two and their love!

Kisha was a beauty in her gown, and I love how her classic red rose bouquet just pops amongst the scenery at Salem Black River Church!

Jason’s face was covered with this same truly happy smile the entire day! His joy was so apparent to every one there, and I’m alway SO HERE for grooms showing their emotion on the wedding day. 

Now to their short, sweet ceremony in Salem Black River Church in South Carolina. It was humbling to be in such a beautiful, historical place for a ceremony, and the Salem Black River Church’s look and feel was perfect for this spring South Carolina wedding.

Just look at the emotion on Jason’s face as he first saw his bride!! I loved seeing his sweet, genuine reaction to seeing his pretty spring bride.

Jason and Kisha both had a son and daughter respectively, and they were very excited about blending their little families together. I love that Kisha chose her daughter to be her maid of honor and that Jason chose his son for his best man!

Mother and daughter… So sweet.
