I am so excited to walk you through Chloe and Aldric 701 Whaley summer wedding via this feature blog today. Though I blog and feature all of the weddings that I photograph, this one is a little extra special today. Because not only does this blog post feature all of Chloe and Aldric‘s beautiful wedding photos, but also an announcement of their wedding’s publication in The Knot Carolinas Spring/Summer 2020 issue! I am so excited to walk you through their wedding day and memories, and show off their wedding day in print for you to see for the first time!
The Knot Carolinas Spring/Summer 2020
First, I just have to start with photos of their beautiful future in print! I am so excited that Chloe and Aldric were chosen by The Knot to be featured as one of their five South Carolina weddings in The Knot Carolinas Spring/Summer 2020 issue.
Preparation & Details
Now onto Chloe and Aldric‘s wedding day and all of their beautiful photos. First, we started out with a couple of details as they both prepared and separate locations within 701 Whaley!
Getting Ready Separately
Aldric got ready for his wedding day with his mother and father’s help. Chloe was dressed by her mom as her bridesmaids watched in the loft above. 701 Whaley features great getting ready locations for couples getting married on the property, and I always enjoy these type of photos from weddings at this venue.
Daddy-Daughter First Look
Chloe then chose to have a First Look with her dad and save her reveal to Aldric for the ceremony. It was a sweet moment to see her surprise her father with her wedding day look and share a heartfelt hug.
Pre-Ceremony Photos
We photographed the bride and her maids and the groom and his men before the ceremony in and around 701 Whaley. I absolutely adore all of the colors and decor that Chloe and Aldric chose with the help of Jevettra at Avila Dawn Events!
The Giddy Groom
Aldric is one of the most extroverted grooms I’ve photographed, and we had so much fun during his portraits! Often, grooms are a bit more reserved in front of the camera on wedding days. Nerves and stress will do that to anyone! I was excited to see Aldric proudly displaying his joy and getting us on his wedding day.
701 Whaley Wedding Ceremony
Then it was time for Chloe and Aldric to finally be married! You might recognize these two cuties from their engagement session in Columbia, South Carolina on earlier this year. During the engagement session, these two spoke excitedly about their wedding day and it was such a joy to see those same excited smiles on their faces during their ceremony.
The Groom’s Reaction
Aldric specifically wanted to wait to see Chloe until their ceremony, and his reaction to her walking down the aisle to him on her father’s arm was absolutely priceless! Aldric is such a fun and joyful man, and it was beautiful to see how he fearlessly showed his love for Chloe so publicly.
Chloe and Aldric were married at 701 Whaley with their friends and family and attendance. Their ceremony was sweet and heartfelt, and you can just see the joy on their faces in these photos.
Portraits around 701 Whaley
After the ceremony wrapped up, we began to photograph a couple together as a married pair for the first time. We photographed them together as a couple and with their full wedding party before the reception. It was so much fun to see Chloe and Aldric interact with each other for the first time on their wedding day and with their wedding party members.
Matching Converse Shoes
Chloe and Aldric had matching Converse made for their wedding day, and I loved snapping a few photos of Aldric helping his wife into her comfy shoes. Already, less than an hour into their marriage and Aldric was on his knee, serving his wife and meeting her needs. Swoon
701 Whaley Wedding Reception
After the portraits were finished, it was time for the party! Jevettra from Avila Dawn Events did an incredible job with transforming 701 Whaley into Chloe and Aldric‘s dream wedding reception. From complementary linens to flawless florals, their entire summer 701 Whaley wedding reception was flawless!
Dances with Parents
During the reception, the couple shared this with their parents respectively, and each of those dances held sweet emotional moments. After that, the dance floor opened for Aldric and some of his Greek Brothers to show off their steps.
After the party, the couple exited their wedding day under a shower of sparklers and with cheers from those that love them the most!

I hope that you loved walking through Chloe and Aldric 701 Whaley wedding photos today! I am so thrilled with how their entire wedding days full gallery came together and overjoyed to see them featured in The Knot Carolinas Spring/Summer 2020 issue. It’s always a joy to see my couples featured, especially in print!!
