The Details

How else do you begin a wedding day if it’s not capturing the details that set the tone for the day? Thanks to Petal and Vine, all these extra orchids really made these details stand out. It’s always important that couples supply me with details that are the most special to them that can never be forgotten throughout time. Meghan had her something blue bracelet with her mother’s portrait on it to be included in her detail photos.

Meghan & Ladies

Our lovely bride, Meghan got ready alongside her bridesmaids in the Hampton Preston Mansion. As she clasped her last button and slid on her shoes, she was off with her bridesmaids to share a first look moment with her father. After he received a special gift from her and shared smiles, she was off to capture portraits with her bridesmaids to get this day rolling!

Curtis and Men

Curtis looked more than sharp in his evergreen Generation Tux alongside his groomsmen. He even had a special detail embroidered to his cuffs to personalize his attire even more. With the support from his groomsmen, he was ready to marry the love of his life!

The Hampton Preston Wedding Ceremony

Alexandra Madison Weddings really nailed this ceremony design so that Meghan and Curtis would truly be the center of attention during their ceremony. Curtis awaited his bride patiently at the alter as Meghan rolled up in a classic 1940’s Cadillac and was escorted to meet him by her father. After sharing their vows and lighting a unity candle, the sealed this marriage with a kiss for all to witness around them.

Hampton Preston Wedding Portraits

How exciting it is to call these two husband & wife! Now married, it was time to have their first portraits as a just married couple. I’d like to think that the JHP creative team really knocked these portraits out of the park. With the help of their wedding party, Curtis an Meghan wrapped up their wedding portraits to go enjoy and intimate Southern Way Catering dinner before heading into their reception.

The Reception Decor

The team of vendors on this Hampton Preston wedding day executed a more than luxury reception space for Meghan and Curtis’s guests to enjoy. Petal and Vine supplied nothing but the best white florals for the space while Sweet GG’s had a innovative wedding cake stationed right in the center for couples to gaze upon. Party Reflections set up a cozy tent with high end tables for each guest to enjoy their dinner and DJ Puff was set up ready to keep this wedding reception lively all night long.

The Reception

Curtis and Meghan entered their reception and kicked it off with first dances to remember. DJ Puff invited more guests to the dance floor while the spirits shaken up by Southern Way Catering fueled the evening. The couple continued to celebrate their love throughout the night by cutting their cake and sharing a private last dance before their wedding day ended. This was truly a dream wedding for this Columbia, South Carolina wedding photographer.
