The Details

Niky and Chavis’s wedding photography coverage began with the details. All the romantic reds found from their invitation suite to their dreamy florals really set the tone for this indoor wedding. The natural light that shines through at this indoor wedding venue really made capturing these details magical. I really loved capturing Niky’s wedding gown under the canopy in the National Republic Ballroom of 1208 Washington Place.

Getting Ready

This stunning couple got ready for their day surrounded by their wedding party. As you noticed in the details, Niky stuck to her red and pink color palette throughout the day and added touches of bright pink to her wedding party robes. Chavis prepared to get married with some assistance from his groomsmen and was ready to say I Do! Before happily ever after would begin, they shared letters to one another to read while they prepared for the ceremony to express their love!

A Romantic Indoor Ceremony

As romantic as the color palette, this indoor wedding venue in Columbia, South Carolina was perfect for a romantic ceremony. Who wouldn’t want to be surrounded by lush roses, your closest friends and family, and warm light shining through these 1208 Washington Place windows? Chavis and Niky shared their vows and said I Do to wrap up their lovely ceremony.

1208 Washington Place Couple’s Portraits

If you thought this couple looked amazing before their ceremony, they look even better side by side outside of 1208 Washington. While their wedding day took place indoors, we still were able to take a step outside at sunset to get these gorgeous portraits of the newlyweds. And might I just say, they look AMAZING!

No sunset portraits would be complete without a beautiful veil flowing in the wind. Again, the word romantic stood out to me during these portraits.

The Reception

While cocktail hour took place upstairs in the Washington Street Ballroom room of this indoor wedding venue in Columbia, SC, By Invitation Only rocked the setting change of the downstairs National Republic Ballroom of 1208 Washington Place. What was a stunning ceremony room was now a beautifully designed dinner and reception space. While guests watched Niky and Chavis get married under the rose canopy, they now could eat dinner and mingle under the same canopy for the rest of the evening.

These newlyweds cut cake, danced, and enjoyed the rest of their wedding day celebrating! By the end of the evening they exited outside of 1208 Washington under a snow machine and said their goodbyes!
