Today, I am so honored to share a gorgeous early morning elopement on the blog! I love weddings, brides, and everything to do with the day, so when Sejan first email me about photographing her elopement in Chapin, SC, I knew I could not say no. Being an SC elopement photographer is something very special, because elopements are special.
There is just nothing like being able to be a part of a small, intimate ceremony as a photographer. To be a part of an occasion that not even the whole family is invited to, what an honor!! Michael and Sejan joined hands and lives on a brisk morning last week, and I was so happy to be able to create some gorgeous images for them.
It’s easy to overlook the small parts of a wedding day during an elopement, but one of my biggest goals as a SC elopement photographer is to make my elopement couples feel like their wedding day is nothing less than that, a wedding day. Just because it’s a small ceremony with only a few loved ones, does not mean that the photos need display anything less than a big day!
So, without any more of my ramblings about being an SC elopement photographer, enjoy these gorgeous images!
Ahh, I love details!!
Only Michael and Sejan’s parents joined us for their ceremony, and it was just beautiful. A few tears, a few laughs, and a perfect morning love story!
Married!!!
Just a few tears… so sweet!
Oh, and Sejan’s best friend came to join the fun… These two were a joy to photograph. Ha!
What a gorgeous bride…
Sorry, not sorry for the huge amount of couples portraits I’ve shared today!
Michael never stops making Sejan laugh; its so beautiful and sweet!
The day after their SC elopement, I met back up with Michael and Sejan for a family celebration. And then Sejan walked out of the lake house they rented for the weekend in a traditional Korean gown… and I died right then and there. Just look…
She is so stunning it almost HURTS!!
And Sejan’s parents joined us in their traditional Korean dress for a few portraits!
And the night ended with the most stunning sunset and the happiest of couples!
