I am thrilled to be showing off to you today this beautiful wedding at Seibels House in Historic Columbia, South Carolina. These South Carolina wedding photos feature Whitney and Francis’ stunning and classic southern wedding day. This couple and their vision of a classic southern wedding, along with the help from their planner and this venue, really made for beautiful South Carolina wedding photography and I was lucky to be able to capture it! The Wedding Day Details

Every wedding day I photograph, my team and I start with the couple’s details. Whitney had a stunning floral white gown to match her southern garden wedding dreams. Their invitation suite by Shine Wedding Invitations were luxurious with royal blue details to really bring out the Carolina blue touches you find in South Carolina. Their calligrapher, Kristina Chandler of Letter Be Happy made sure made sure to put the perfect final touches on the couple’s vans shoes.

Getting Ready For Their Wedding Day

Both Francis and Whitney got ready for their wedding day surrounded by their close family and friends. Whitney slipped into her gown with the help of her mother while Francis got dressed with his father and friends.

The First Look

The couple decided to have their first look and see each other before their ceremony. Whitney made sure to see her father first, but then it was time to meet Francis in the Seibels House in Historic Columbia gardens. Not only did Whitney and Francis shed some tears during their first look, but my team might have shed some tears as well! Whitney was stunning in her garden gown and you could see that Francis full heartedly agreed.

Aftertheir reveal, we spent some time walking through the grounds at Seibels House in Historic Columbia for their wedding portraits.

Scott with American Florals did an incredible job meeting Whitney’s simple southern classic vision with white florals and magnolia leaves! Her bouquet was the perfect touch to bring her wedding florals together with all white roses.

Francis sure did look sharp next to his stunning bride in a classic black tuxedo standing on the Seibels House grounds. This couple’s visions were impeccably brought together by Jessica Rourke and her assistant Betsy Watts. The natural Seibels House garden space, American Florals florals, and their design work really created some southern charm!

Whitney and Francis shared their wedding vows from their Seibels House in Historic Columbia and celebrated their marriage directly after with photos of them together with their families and wedding party. They even stopped to show off their fresh new wedding bands.

The Frog and Cicada Nigh Time Orchestra

After we finished taking photos of Whitney and Francis’ families and wedding party, it was time for them to eat and see their stunning dinner and reception space designed by Jessica Rourke. It felt like a garden party from Alice in Wonderland.

I adored this reception’s design, look, and how it felt for the couple. Whitney mentioned that the Seibels House garden and venue speak for themselves but she wanted the wedding to capture the things she loves about being in and from South Carolina – magnolia leaves, hydrangeas, the moment when the sun sets and the crickets, frogs and cicadas begin their nighttime orchestra.

Jessica Rourke did a fantastic job of designing this reception space speak to Whitney’s love of South Carolina. Wedding days like these show you why it’s so important to hire the perfect planner!!

Seibels House Wedding Reception

Francis and Whitney enjoyed their dinner with those closest to them, shared incredible dances with a lively group of guests thanks to their awesome DJ, Cameron Glover with Big Time Entertainment, and walked through a sparkler exit to end their wedding night. They drove away in a Carolina blue Lincoln and the rest was history!
