There is just something special about Asheville North Carolina. A few months ago my two good friends and I, Ashton of Ashton Kelley Photography and Amber of Images by Amber R, decided to get away for a few days, just us three friends.  We chose Asheville Glamping as our destination. We drove in from our hometowns to meet for three days and two nights, and met in the cutest place to sleep in the entire world! As photographers, we obviously had to set up a styled shoot while together, DUH! With the help of my two friends and our lovely modeling couple, Amber and Jaleesa, we set up a styled shoot themed around the place we were staying, Asheville Glamping!

All-in-all this shoot was just for us three photographers come together and create something fun that we wanted to photograph. As three full-time wedding photographers, often we forget to shoot for ourselves. This Glamping styled shoot in Asheville was our way of shooting for us and our portfolios. A way for us to just have a little fun behind the camera without the pressure of paying clients’ expectations. I was so happy when I  found Amber and Jaleesa via a model call I put out in The Queen Photographers on Facebook. They are such a lovely couple who are truly SO in love. It was a pleasure to photograph them for this shoot. (Thanks again for driving up to Asheville for us, ladies!!)

The Vendors

This styled shoot was a labor of love. So many great vendors help us bring our vision to life. My friend Lisa at Paper Dreams LLC  provided us with a beautiful invitation suite.  Thanks to The Prettiest Pieces who provided our rentals and the decor. We used The Mrs. box and Illume Silks to style our invitation! Our model Jaleesa was in a gown Amber actually found on Amazon!  We arranged the florals ourselves (really, Ashton did most of it, ha!) purchased from Whole Foods Asheville, and Verde Studio provided our vintage stamps for detail shots.
