The Love Story Behind the Celebration

Morgan and John’s journey began in 2020 at Steel Hands Brewery, where John’s father introduced them with the unforgettable line, “Hi, my name is John and my Dad would kill me if I didn’t get your name.” From that serendipitous meeting, their relationship blossomed into one full of laughter, adventure, and heartfelt surprises—culminating in a proposal in the North Carolina mountains. Their wedding day in Charleston was the perfect reflection of their passion and excitement for life together.

A Historic Charleston Setting – Grace Church Cathedral

This winter destination wedding began at The Charleston Place, where Morgan shared a heartfelt first look with her father—complete with a hidden letter sewn into her dress. A vintage Rolls Royce then carried her to the ceremony at the stunning Grace Church Cathedral, one of Charleston’s most iconic historic churches. The architecture and timeless beauty of the space set the stage for an emotional and reverent Catholic ceremony, where Morgan and John exchanged private vows and included meaningful family heirlooms such as a rosary wrapped around the bridal bouquet.
