I am so excited to share with you these Hall at Senate’s End wedding photos from Will and Liz’s wedding day earlier this year! This lovely couple were married at Shandon United Methodist Church and celebrated their wedding reception at the Hall at Senate’s End in Columbia, South Carolina. Their day was so full of emotion, anticipation, and joy. I hope you enjoy looking through a few of my favorite frames from Will and Liz’s Hall at Senate’s end wedding photos!

Preparation & Details

Pre-Ceremony Love Notes

Will and Liz decided to not see each other before their ceremony. They both prepared for their wedding day with their wedding party and family members. The couple wrote each other a sweet note to read before seeing each other down the aisle. It was so sweet to photograph each of them reading their words to the other; both of their faces plastered with smiles as they worked through the other’s promises and words before the ceremony.

Before the ceremony, both the bride and groom were photographed with their respective wedding parties. We had so much fun spending time together before their ceremony, enjoying the anticipation and excitement. I absolutely love the color Liz selected for her bridesmaids’ gowns. Of course, American Floral did not disappoint with the florals, either!

Daddy-Daughter First Look

Though Will and Liz opted out of a First Look for themselves on their wedding day, Liz wanted to be sure to do something special for her dad. So, we set up a First Look between her and her dad! It was such a sweet moment for them to share. Liz even gifted her dad with a special handkerchief, and he shed a few tears while they embraced. I love moments like these on a wedding day as a wedding photographer!

The Ceremony & Vows

Then it was time for them to get married! Liz and Will shared a sweet ceremony in front of their closest friends and family. Shandon United Methodist Church is such a beautiful church and has such a lovely sanctuary! After they said their vows and traded ‘I do’s’, they sealed their marriage with a kiss!

After the ceremony, we photographed the bride and groom with their wedding party both outside the church and at the Hall at Senate‘s End before their announcement to the reception. Will and Liz had such a fun wedding party! They were a wonderful group, and I had a great time photographing them. I love how the group looks together! So sharp!

Will and Liz photograph together so beautifully, friends. I learned just how easily and beautifully they photograph together at their engagement session, and I knew I had nothing to worry about when it came to their portraits as a couple together. We spent a few moments outside the Hall at Senate’s End capturing portraits of the newlyweds before they were announced into their reception. I couldn’t fit pick a favorite if you asked me too!

After all of the portraits were finished, the couple headed into the reception at the Hall at Senate’s End to party the night away! I absolutely loved their unique centerpieces at the reception. Will and Liz share a love for craft beer, and they used local breweries’ growlers as centerpieces for their tables.
