I’d like to think the universe brings together the right people at exactly the right time. And Matt and Claibourne are one of the reasons I like to hope in this idea. These two are made for each other because they fit the other perfectly in every way. They met at exactly the right time in their own lives for their love to flourish, and today I’m so excited to be sharing with you their engagement portraits at Kalmia Gardens in Hartsville, South Carolina.

Claibourne and Matt are a sweet couple that plan to hold their wedding celebration later this April. I’m so excited about being their wedding photographer, as two years ago I photographed Claibourne’s twin’s wedding! I adore this couple, their family, and how they love each other. And I am so excited to see some familiar faces on their wedding day and to join their family once again for a big celebration.

Kalmia Gardens Engagement Session

Claibourne’s sweet pup, Drake, joined us for a few portraits around Kalmia Gardens, and we ended their session with a more formal outfit and some really good cuddles. Matt and Claibourne’s engagement session was fun to photograph.
