The Details At Southern Oaks Event Venue
Jacob and AuMariyah had such sweet details to fully tie their day together. The attire, the smells, the rings, and the thoughtful invitation suite may have been small mementos, but they made a big statement to the couple’s love. Details are something I adore capturing for the wedding gallery at every Lexington, South Carolina wedding day I shoot.
Getting Ready
The couple got ready separately in Lexington, South Carolina surrounded by their loved ones. AuMariyah made sure to speak to her “future hubby” before she slipped into her dress with the help of her mother. Jacob had the help of his father to suit up for the day as well. The finishing touches were added right before AuMariyah and Jacob had their first look and have their first wedding day portraits together!
The First Look In Lexington, South Carolina
Before Jacob was to see is bride for the first time, AuMariyah had a first look with her father first. He was so excited to see her! Once she had her first look with her father, it was time for the first look. Jacob was ready to see Aumariyah at Southern Oaks Event Venue and once he did, their reactions were priceless. I always suggest doing first looks on Lexington wedding days!

Once the first look ended, it was time to get stunning portraits of the lovely couple before their ceremony. Having a first look always helps getting these gorgeous portraits captured if you are unable to have them taken after the ceremony. The couple looked absolutely stunning together. Aumariyah made such a beautiful bride and Jacob was looking sharp in his Navy and Burgundy getup.

The Southern Oaks Ceremony
Jacob and AuMariyah were married in an intimate gathering surrounded by the people they love most. Southern Oaks displayed beautiful red and blush roses behind the couple to really bring their wedding visions to life. Together they said their vows, prayed, and united as one. I loved capturing every moment down to their first kiss as husband and wife.
The Lexington, South Carolina Wedding Reception
Southern Oaks Event Venue had a beautifully decorated reception space for the couple as soon as the ceremony ended. Parkland Cakes delivered a sweet white cake to display in front of a dreamy light wall. The couple entered their reception and shared their first dance, cut their cake, and enjoyed every moment together with their friends and family. They exited together with bubbles to end the night.
