As most couples do before their wedding day, Ashleigh and Brice made sure to get their South Carolina engagement photos. The Nickelodeon

Ashleigh and Brice began their engagement session on Main Street in downtown Columbia, SC right by the Nickelodeon. One of Brice’s favorite past times is watching movies so it only felt right to stop by this famous movie theatre of Columbia! After sharing sweet kisses and much laughter, we made our way down Main Street towards the top of a parking garage.

The Taylor Street Garage

One place I truly love to photograph couples in downtown Columbia is the Taylor Street Garage. It feels elevated yet still very much Columbia. The views are something to take in and unforgettable. Brice and Ashleigh really made art in front of my lens during this part of their Main Street engagement photos. As we exited the garage and made our way to the SC Statehouse, we did a quick outfit change into something more formal as I suggest all my couples to do during their engagement photo sessions.

The SC StateHouse Engagement Photos

My favorite thing to do while waiting on couples to change into their second outfit is to capture photos of that engagement ring! It’s just dying to have it’s closeup and I know that it must be highlighted! But now that we have captured the item that ties this engagement session together, it’s back to the couple. Their SC Statehouse engagement portraits were perfect with the sunshine photobombing as it’s supposed to do. After walking them through a couple more poses and Statehouse spots, Brice and Ashleigh wrapped up their engagement photos.
