Earlier this year, Adam and Amy were married at their Robert Mills House wedding, and I had the incredible honor of being behind the camera to document their day!
Adam and Amy met at work since fate had him assigned to the cubicle beside Amy’s, and the rest, they say, is history! Now, they are enjoying their first few months of marriage together, and I am sharing their full wedding’s blog post today!
This Robert Mill House wedding was definitely one for the books! From the perfect spring outfits Amy picked for her girls to a unique origami engagement ring, the entire day was quite close to perfect. I honestly could go on and on about how beautiful this day was, but instead, I’ll just let these images speak for themselves!
Enjoy the first peek into Adam and Amy’s Robert Mills House Wedding, and be sure to leave some love for the newlyweds in the comments below!

Robert Mills House Wedding
Adam had his groomsmen there to help him slip into the finishing touches.
You may be wondering what this origami ring and bowtie are doing throughout these detail images, and boy is this a sweet story!
I’ll let Amy tell you about it…
“Adam had just spent six months in Japan for work. We went to brunch with some friends, and when we came home, he said he had another gift from Japan to give me, but I had to close my eyes. He proposed with an origami ring that he learned to make in Japan. It was very simple but very romantic and very appropriate since we have both spent time in Japan. It is also secretly what I was hoping for when he told me he was going to this origami master’s shop in Tokyo.”
So there you have it! This little ring is the rock Adam proposed with, and he made a bowtie for the wedding day! How COOL!
Amy’s girls were able to help her into her gown before their portraits, and their sweet spirits were exactly what she needed on her day.
Oh, Amy. You’re so beautiful!!
The bride is just glowing with joy and happiness in these.
One of my favorite things about a Robert Mill House wedding is the endless selection of portrait locations and opportunities! The property’s blooming dogwood trees made the perfect Spring backdrop for Amy’s bridesmaid portraits with her girls.
Amy and Adam wanted to ‘see’ each other before the ceremony to calm a few nerves and just chat. Adam showed off his dino socks, and Amy was able to snuggle up with her man for a minute. She even gave him a quick kiss while his eyes were closed!
The way they look at each other is EVERYTHING. So much love and affection, I just cannot!!!
They are MARRIED!!!
I just LOVE these blush tulle skirts Amy choose for her bridesmaids!!
I know I said this above, but sheesh, Amy, you’re so beautiful!!!
Uh, OKAY, Adam!! WERK it!!
I always LOVE it when my couples have a special request, and this was Amy and Adam’s… It’s their thing for her to snuggle up under his jacket and just rest in each other. In my opinion, these images might just be the sweetest from the whole day. It’s THEM, truly and fully just Amy and Adam. I just love it!!!
Amy and Adam,
Thank you SO much for trusting me with your wedding photos on your big day! I couldn’t be more happy with how your album has come together. And I love how sweetly you two love each other. I know the way we found each other was a bit unconventional, but I’m so thankful that we did! Amy, you looked SO beautiful on your day. And Adam, you weren’t so bad yourself, ha!
I wish you two the happiest happy-ever-after, and I cannot wait to see you both in front my camera again!
