South Carolina State Museum Wedding Photography
Today, I’m stoked to share with you Erin and Jeremy’s wedding day in Columbia, South Carolina. They had such a beautiful day thanks to their amazing vendors that brought their visions to life. This couple tied all the South Carolina vibes into their wedding day and it was an honor to capture their South Carolina State Museum wedding photography. Are you all ready to see how their gorgeous and memorable day unfolded?
While Erin and Jeremy got ready in separate locations, I visited Erin and started capturing their sweet details. I loved the lavender and sage colors that Erin and Jeremy incorporated into their wedding color palette. Turns out that their family grows fresh lavender so I just had to add that detail to their flat lays. Meanwhile, my second shooter, Savannah, headed to Hotel Trundle in downtown Columbia, SC to capture Jeremy’s details and his getting ready moments.
Erin got ready alongside her bridesmaids and mother. It was very intimate and quite entertaining. One thing I can say about this couple from Columbia, SC is that they know how to have a good time. Jeremy got ready alongside his groomsmen and made that experience very entertaining for Savannah. Erin’s mother helped her slide into her dress with the help of her bridesmaids. Jeremy’s boys made sure he looked sharp before he opened a sweet gift from Erin. His mother even stopped by to make sure his final touches were complete before they hopped onto the trolley to go to the South Carolina State Museum and tie the knot!
The First Look At SCSM
Before Erin and Jeremy would tie the knot, they would have a first look to really be present with one another. But first, Erin made sure to have a first look with her father and give him a gift before he walked her down the aisle.
So the first look with Erin and her dad was over, it was time for the first look! Jeremy was so ready to see his bride! Once Erin tapped on Jeremy’s shoulder, he was more than excited to turn around and see his bride. This fun couple was eager to show off their wedding ensembles and take their lovely portraits!
South Carolina State Museum Wedding Portraits
I always recommend a first look with my couple’s, especially on the cooler months in South Carolina. Your portraits with your partner dressed to the nines is a memory you never want to forget, and capturing these stunning moments while the sunshine is just right allows you to get to your party immediately after your wedding ceremony. Erin and Jeremy had gorgeous portraits thanks to the South Carolina State Museum offering a gorgeous setting for this couple. Look how in love they are!
The lilac colored florals created by Amazing Moments Weddings really stood out with Erin’s wedding look. Her and Jeremy were all smiles during their portraits and they made it so easy for this wedding photographer!
The Wedding Party
As if Jeremy and Erin’s wedding portrait’s weren’t fun enough, adding the whole wedding party to the mix made for even more entertainment. We loved capturing this crew too much! Finally, it was time for the ceremony to begin. Jeremy and Erin would finally say their vows and share their first kiss as husband and wife.
South Carolina State Museum Wedding Ceremony
Jeremy awaited his bride at the end of the aisle. What was a day of fun quickly turned into a romantic moment. Erin was escorted by her father down the aisle and ready to share her vows with her groom. Everyone was in awe as they watched the love unfold. The first kiss as husband and wife happened and that was that! Time to head to the party and make even more memories now as husband and wife.
Once they entered the reception, Jeremy and Erin kicked off the party with the traditional dances. They shared champagne, cut the cake, and spent so many wonderful moments with their family and friends.
After some time, Jeremy had a pleasant surprise guest come visit him to make sure this wedding all around perfect. Cocky gave quite the introduction and made sure to keep this reception party bumpin’ in Columbia, SC! At the end of the evening, they exited with a bubble exit and said their goodbyes to the South Carolina State Museum.
