The 8 Things For Your Bridal Boudoir
If you’re like me, lists help center my brain when organizing for a special occasion. To help ease any stress you may have while prepping for your bridal boudoir session, I’ve got an easy peasy checklist to go through when packing for your session!
1. The Veil
While some marriers opt out on the veil, if you have yours, it makes for a GORGEOUS touch in your bridal boudoir photos. The veil is always a gorgeous statement piece in your wedding day so why not slip it on while you’re wearing your most sexy lingerie.
2. Your Wedding Shoes
Your wedding shoes are a no brainer. The lovely shoes you’ll be walking down the aisle in to say I DO surely add that extra memorable element to your boudoir photos.
3. Wedding Dress Accessories
While some may even bring their whole wedding gown to add to the background of their bridal boudoir photos, sometimes it’s easier just to bring bridal dress accessories. Maybe a sparkly belt, some added straps or sleeves to wear with your lingerie can make for a special surprise when giving this forever gift to your partner on your wedding night.
4. Wedding Day Jewelry
Earrings and Necklace, say no more! No look is truly ties together without the added sparkle of a necklace, bracelet, or earrings on your wedding day. Adding these items to your bridal boudoir photography is such a thoughtful touch to your images. Your partner might even love noticing these details too when flipping through your bridal boudoir images. But how could I forget the wedding band??
5. Your Partner’s Wedding Band
While your engagement ring is a big YES in your wedding images, we love to see your partner’s wedding band as well. Add it around a chain necklace or include it into your lingerie. Even wrapped around your own finger as you swipe your lip during your bridal boudoir photos is a good way to make your bridal boudoir photos all about your future union.
6. Partner’s Wedding Attire
We’ve all seen the sexy photos wearing your partner’s work shirt and tie.. Well instead of work attire, let’s add your partner’s wedding attire. Who doesn’t love a clean and classic button up wrapped around you.
7. 2-3 Outfits You Love & Are Bridal
Of course we can’t forget the actual lingerie. When bringing your lingerie, I always suggest lingerie that matches your wedding dress and veil along with some extra white lingerie options. If white isn’t ideal for you, add a touch of color, friend! And if the wedding planning has become too much for you to bring your own lingerie, don’t worry. We got you covered here at the JHP bridal boudoir studio. You’re welcome to always brown our bridal boudoir closet to find that perfect piece for your session.
8. Props
Last but not least, props! Bring those props that could include your wedding stalkings, your garter, or even your partner’s favorite pastime item. When adding props to your boudoir session, the list has no limit. It could be a prop as simple as your gaming controller or even some of your favorite cookies you love to eat with your partner.
