She was magical and brought my studio to life! Being a boudoir photographer feels incredibly fulfilling – especially when I have magical people step into my studio like Heather. She’s truly a gem. In Heather’s Words

Through my early twenties I always felt I was too small. I was skinny and grew tired of people telling me to eat more. Turns out I had a medical condition and just eating more wouldn’t help. Once I started to get treatment my body started to gain weight and become healthy. While I weigh the most I ever have my body feels better and is so much stronger. There are still times I wish I was a little more toned or my cheese pouch was a little smaller but she’s still my body and keeps me healthy and I appreciate her for that!

Heather’s Boudoir Photo Journey

My body and I are on a journey together and I have a wonderful medical team at my back to make sure I’m staying healthy and safe. We are starting to work out more and being physically stronger (not skinnier) makes me feel so much better! I didn’t think about getting boudoir photos in Columbia, South Carolina at first as a part of my journey, but they did become a part of that. It’s hard to see yourself as others see you and a mirror just can’t do that justice. But Jess can!

The Columbia, South Carolina Boudoir Experience

Before getting my boudoir photos in Columbia, South Carolina, I was slightly overwhelmed and had the “about to do a new thing” jitters. During my session I felt cute, fun, sexy, and powerful! After my session was done I was excited about the photos and my new friendship with Jessica Hunt Photography! I feel different about myself now that I’ve taken these photos! I feel more positive and more aware of how others see me.

Sometimes those little butterflies in your tummy are telling you that doing “scary” things is actually good because you’ll come out stronger after. Whether it’s physical, emotional, or mentally.
