The Details
Ben and JD had the perfect mix of blues and purples for their wedding day. Their details included the cutest gamer controller cuff links, antler shaped boutonnieres, wedding bands, and rainbow blindfolds. These blindfolds will be explained later on, so you have to keep reading!
Getting Ready
Before getting ready for the day, JD and Ben gave their last hugs before they would see each other again walking down the aisle. They each got ready separately and did first look reveals to their wedding party before they would take wedding party portraits.
JD’s Wedding Party
JD was accompanied but he perfect group of friend in their purple attire. The feminine party wore their purple dresses with their purple lanterns while the men wore their purple ties.
Ben’s Wedding Party
Ben couldn’t have been cuter with their wedding party wearing the opposite colors. I LOVED the blue and purple colors.. Haven’t you seen my website? Each lady that carried a lit lantern that matched their gowns were made by Ben and JD which I absolutely loved.
Discord Facetime
While the couple waited for their LGBTQ wedding ceremony in Greenville, SC, Ben made sure to FaceTime their discord friends to show off their wedding day look. The laughter and excitement was infectious.
The Ceremony
Plain With Sprinkles set up the perfect and simple ceremony site at the Rutherford. After guests arrived and the wedding party awaited the couple at the end of the aisle, Ben and JD approached together blindfolded. Their first look would be right before they walked down the aisle together. As a wedding photographer in Greenville, SC, I was shedding tears also during this moment. After each guest and wedding party member wrapped a rope around the couples joined hands, these two vowed to be together forever.
With an exchanging of rings, and a kiss, these two were officially married partners! Confetti poppers sent these two lovebirds down the aisle to end this LGBTQ wedding ceremony in Greenville, South Carolina.

The Reception Decor
Purple and Navy tables were set across The Rutherford with paper folded flowers and lanterns. Downstairs was a gorgeous cocktail bar with specialty drinks prepared by Southern Libations. Their cake was absolutely perfect, standing out thanks to gamer and rainbow themed neon lights.
The Reception
These newlyweds kicked off their reception with a heartfelt first dance and cut their cake for all guests to enjoy, making this LGBTQ wedding day even sweeter. Their guests shared toasts, danced, and celebrated these two until the final exit. They stepped out their venue surrounded by loved ones and bubbles. I couldn’t think of a more perfect way to end this wedding day.
