The Details
Abe and Britteny had gorgeous details that were only enhanced by Britteny’s amazing succulent florals. Let me just say, I’m obsessed with the succulent florals. They were more than perfect for this South Carolina beach wedding photography at Folly Beach and James Island.
My favorite detail was a koozie that had custom graphic design created by Abe himself for their wedding day.
Getting Ready
The couple got ready at their Folly Beach beach house surrounded by their children and their close family. Britteny applied her lipstick with her daughter’s company. Meanwhile, Abe was gifted a ring from Britteny’s mother passed down by generations. The elegant linen dress that Britteny wore was perfect for the beach wedding and Abe matched her attire by sporting a navy linen suit. Thanks to his groomsmen, Abe was dressed and ready for his and Britteny’s first look moment.
The First Look
The first look moment is always a favorite of mine! Abe waited for his stunning bride at the end of the deck for Britteny to tap on his shoulder to reveal her wedding day look. Waiting was not an option for Abe as he was over the moon to his his bride and turned around prematurely. This first look moment at their South Carolina beach wedding photography couldn’t have been more perfect for this couple either way.
South Carolina Beach Wedding Portraits
We stepped into the Folly Beach sand to continue these South Carolina coast portraits. This is what love of 9 years looks like. Now add 3 beautiful daughters to the mix and you’ve got the complete love story of Abe and Britteny!
As this couple’s South Carolina wedding photographer, it was so special to be able to share this couple’s joy and laugh with them as we captured their beautiful day.
The I Do Crew
Before this couple could go exchange their vows, we had to capture the people who mean the most to Abe and Britteny. Check out this I Do Crew! They couldn’t have asked for a better wedding party for their celebration.
The James Island, SC Ceremony
Thanks to James Island County Park and Lee Domikis with Direct My Day, Britteny and Abe had a beautiful wedding ceremony. Everything was decorated seamlessly. Britteny was escorted down the aisle to her groom and they exchanged their sweet vows. 9 years of this couple creating a life together made for timeless vows.
They sealed this ceremony with a kiss and were ready to party and celebrate with all their guests!
Edisto Hall Reception Photos
The celebration began with finger foods and mingling! The best part of their reception was their cactus cake crafted by Snowbird Pastries. She even made all the cookies to offer guests. Abe and Britteny kicked off the dancing with the help of their amazing wedding band, Jaykob Kendrick. The dancing and celebration lasted for the rest of the evening and made for a perfect evening.
