When I arrived to this outdoor venue in Columbia, South Carolina, photographing Jax and Jared’s wedding details was the first thing on my todo list. The Lace House was looking stunning on this brilliant sunny day and it made for perfect lighting to capture all of their details.

Getting Ready

Jax got ready surrounded by her bridesmaids. She slipped into her beautiful gown from Bridals By Lori with the help of her matrons of honor to surprise the rest of her bridesmaids. She was the definition of a perfect bride. Meanwhile, Jared was stepping into his suit with the help of his groomsmen.

The First Looks With The Parents

As Jax finalized her wedding day look at The Lace House in Columbia, South Carolina, she was ready to share her ensemble with her parents and in laws. Their reactions were priceless and this was a moment I was so pleased to capture. These are the forever memories that I adore capturing! Their parents even adored seeing Jared in his suit just moments before their ceremony.

Moments Before The Outdoor Ceremony

Jared and Jax chose not to go forward with a first look of their own but that meant that we got to snap some portraits of the two with their favorite people. Looking sharp as ever, Jared posed next to his groomsmen before we made sure to capture some wedding portraits of just him. Thanks to By Design SC, Jax was adorned with the most gorgeous spring bouquet. She and her bouquet looked incredible alongside her bridesmaids. Capturing Jax by herself was an even greater joy, as she was SO radiant.

The Outdoor Wedding Venue Ceremony

As if The Lace House wasn’t already beautiful, By Invitation Only, with the help from By Design SC and Crisp Event Rentals, couldn’t have decorated a more Spring time space. Their design work not only brought Jax and Jared’s visions to life, but also was a Columbia, SC wedding photographer’s dream! Waiting at the end of the aisle, Jared was ready to say I DO! Escorted by her mother, Jax met him at the alter. They shared some tears, laughs, along with their vows and sealed this marriage with a kiss. The stunning couple were finally married!

The Newlyweds

Finally, Jax and Jared could have their portraits captured as husband and wife. This outdoor wedding venue in Columbia, South Carolina was a dream for this couple. It made for the perfect setting for their intimate time together. Their love was so visible and it was a joy to capture for their gallery. My favorite moment during their intimate portraits was capturing Jax’s veil blowing in the wind in front of the Lace House fountain.

The Wedding Party

Once their intimate wedding portraits wrapped up, it was time to have the whole wedding party captured. Jax and Jared’s springtime wedding palette looked so complete with everyone’s attire. They were so lucky to have the support from all of this amazing I Do Crew.

The Reception

Did someone say pink? I couldn’t think of a better spring time color than pink. The dinner tables were dressed in pretty pink fabric with stunning floral and candle center pieces. Their dinner was hosted outside at The Lace House along with the indoor options that was offered. Jared and Jax entered their reception space to have their first dance in front of their guests. Next was cake cutting. Ally and Eloise gave a perfect cake for Jax to rub into Jared’s face. They exited their outdoor wedding with sparklers all around them and finished their wedding day with a kiss!
