The day I met Torie and Brandy, I walked away from our consult thinking to myself, “Well, if that’s not a couple truly in love, I don’t know what is!” These two amazing women are perfectly fit to match the other, and their wedding day was a truly special one. I’m so honored to have been a part of Torie and Brandy’s day and wedding experience, since I am such a strong supporter of marriage equality. Their wedding the first same-sex wedding I’ve had the pleasure of shooting, and my time with these two loving ladies has proven once again the purity of love to me.
They had a quick ceremony outside at Love’s Chapel, and then they headed to the Savannah River Rapids Pavilion in Augusta, Georgia for a sweet reception with friends and family of the happy couple. It was a beautiful day for everyone, and the pure joy the brides had in just finally being MARRIED was SO apparent in their smiles and written all over their faces.
I wanted to share with you Torie and Brandy’s LGBTQ wedding portraits! The rapids are where these two ladies got engaged, and we explored the park for their engagement session. It was so beautiful to see this location hold their wedding reception, since it means so much to Torie and Brandy. The river and rapids proved to be the perfect background for their portraits, and I just LOVE the looks these two give each other in these images. So truly IN LOVE!!
Love is love, internet, and it’s pretty dang beautiful!! Now, let me introduce to you, Mrs. & Mrs. Yingling!!
So much LOVE!!!
Y’all know I love Spanish Moss since it just makes the BEST light diffuser, ever.
A little romance under the veil…
Then we took some time to photograph Torie and Brandy with their bridal party!
SO happy too, right!?!? I just can’t get over it! True love just shines.
To Torie & Brandy,
I cannot say enough thank you’s to you both for trusting me with the most special day in your lives. You two are such a beautiful example of love, and I’m honored to have been your wedding photographer. Thank you for standing strong in the face of opposition and reminding every single person around you that love cannot be placed in a box.
I have gained two wonderful friends and beautiful clients throughout your wedding experience, and I couldn’t be more thankful for it. With all my love… Congratulations to the Yinglings!
