The Lace House at Arsenal Hill Intimate Summer Wedding
There is no better place to get married than The South Carolina Lace House at Arsenal Hill! In the summer of 2020, and the midst of pandemic shutdowns and the like, Chris and Gabbie went forward with hosting a very intimate wedding day celebration at the Lace House with only 12 guests in attendance. It was a flawless event from top to bottom thanks to the incredible team Chris and Gabbie hired, and today I’m thrilled to share with you a few my favorite Lace House at Arsenal Hill intimate summer wedding photos from their day!
Getting Ready for their Wedding Day
Both Chris and Gabbie got ready for their wedding day surrounded by only very close family and friends. Gabbie was slipped into her account by both her mother while Chris got dressed with a few of his closest friends.
Intimate Wedding Day First Look
The couple decided to have a first look and see each other before their ceremony to calm some nerves on both sides. I absolutely adore Chris’s reaction to seeing Gabbie in her wedding attire for the first time! His facial expression says it all, doesn’t it?!
The Lace House at Arsenal Hill Wedding Photos
After they had their reveal moment, we spent some time exploring the grounds and The Lace House at Arsenal Hill for their wedding portraits. Vickie at Carolina Blossoms outdid herself with Gabbie’s bouquet and the florals throughout the entire wedding day.
I absolutely loved photographing these two, as they photograph together so easily! Honestly, it’s like both of them are models, as you can see!
Intimate Summer Wedding Ceremony
Then it was time for their ceremony… At this point I have to give a huge shout out to the incredible Melanie Murphy of By Invitation Only Event Planning and Design. She worked with this couple hand-in-hand as they made the decision to cut down their guest list, change the details of their ceremony, and switch up their entire reception plan. With Melanie’s help, everything went absolutely flawlessly! If you’re looking for a wedding planner who is ready to handle absolutely anything, Melanie and her team at BIO are the team you are looking for!
South Carolina Wedding Photos
Keep Chris and Gabbie shared their wedding vows from their The Lace House at Arsenal Hill intimate summer wedding and celebrated their marriage directly after with photos of them together with their families and wedding party.
I had such a great time photographing Chris, Gabbie, and their wedding party because this group was just so much fun! I could instantly tell they choose their very closest friends to support them on their wedding day.
Intimate Seated Front-Porch Wedding Reception
After we finished up photos of Chris and Gabbie with their wedding together, it was time for them to see the beautiful candlelit, seated dinner that Melanie had designed for them to enjoy on the front porch of the Lace House at Arsenal Hill. I absolutely loved this reception’s design, look, and how it felt for the couple. Events like this one is why you should absolutely hire an incredible wedding planner and designer to come in and help you execute your vision for your wedding day!! They also really come in handy when things like a global pandemic pop up and you need advice on how to move forward! Ha!
Chris and Gabbie enjoyed their seated dinner with those closest to them, a few dances with a DJ keeping the mood light and fun, and a sparkler exit to end their wedding night.
All in all Chris and Gabbie’s day was absolute joy to be a part of and one of my very favorite recent weddings I have had the pleasure of photographing here in South Carolina.
