In 2020, JHP had the honor of capturing their at home wedding so being invited into their lives again to document this next milestone of theirs is special. We began at the Riverwalk on Cayce capturing more traditional maternity photos. But then we headed to the JHP boudoir studio to spice things up. The Cayce Riverwalk Maternity Photos

Joining Kayla and Devin again to capture their maternity photos was really a treat. We began the first half of their maternity session at the Cayce Riverwalk in Columbia, South Carolina to capture their more traditional maternity portraits first. It was a good way to catch up with this darling couple.

Something I really love adding to maternity sessions are little items to incorporate your baby. Kayla and Devin chose to add some sweet converse baby booties and that was enough to make my heart melt.

The Maternity Boudoir Photos

Kayla prepared for her maternity boudoir session and once she was in her red teddy lingerie, she was one hot mama! We first visited the boudoir studio bed in that red teddy to warm up but it didn’t take long for us to make our journey around the boudoir studio to capture this gorgeous memory. Once Kayla was feeling empowered and stunning, Devin couldn’t wait to join in on these maternity boudoir photos. He definitely had a great hand in these maternity photos.

All The Love

As a Columbia, South Carolina boudoir photographer, I really love all the reasons there are to capture boudoir photographs. One of the biggest being that sometimes I get to capture couples together in the boudoir studio. Boudoir Outfit Change

From sharp crimson red to soft navy blue, a simple outfit change shifted the firey mood to a more soothing boudoir session. Kayla’s new navy teddy had her eyes stand out and match Devin’s soft navy flannel.
